1.What is an Impedance PCB?
Impedance is the combination of capacitance and inductance when a circuit operates at high frequencies.
2.How many kinds of gold are suitable for PCB gold finger plating process?
Two types: electroless nickel immersion gold and electroplated hard gold.
3.Why did these fingers choose gold?
Because it has the highest corrosion resistance and electrical conductivity after copper and silver. Gold is sometimes used in combination with cobalt and nickel to increase the wear resistance of the fingers.
4.What is Goldfinger?
Gold fingers are gold-plated, narrow connectors on the edge of a printed circuit board that enable connections between multiple circuit boards. They are made of meat gold, the hardest form of gold available, which works for long periods of time and has excellent conductivity.
5.What is the difference between high TG and general TG materials?
The general TG plate is more than 130 degrees, the high TG is generally greater than 170 degrees, and the medium TG is about 150 degrees.
6.What are the advantages of high TG PCB?
Higher stability, best to withstand high power density designs, ideal for multilayer and HDI PCBs.
7.What is a high Tg PCB material?
The circuit board material must be flame retardant, cannot burn at a certain temperature, but can only soften. This temperature point is called the glass transition temperature (Tg). A higher Tg point means higher temperature requirements during lamination.

Tg, or glass transition temperature, is a basic material parameter of temperature (°C). It defines the temperature at which the substrate becomes mechanically unstable. Tg is the temperature value that guarantees the mechanical stability of the PCB during the life of the PCB.
